The Laboratory of Theoretical and Applied Pedagogy aims at meeting the research
and educational needs of the students and staff members of the Department of Early
Childhood Education in the field of Pedagogy. It further aims at promoting the
conducting of pedagological research. Additionally, the Laboratory support the
Teaching Practice Programme which links scientific knowledge to educational
practice and offers our students the opportunity of participation in the kindergarten
life. Furthermore, the necessary and effective blending of advanced educational
theory with educational practice is achieved through the development of reflective
strategies. The Laboratory provide students with professional ethos in the direction of
the self-reflective educator.
